Carew Cottage and the village of Manorbier are ideally situated for walking, visiting the local area, going to the many beaches nearby and lots of activities available The harbor town of Tenby is 5 miles away for shopping. There is an abundance of information at the cottage of places to visit and things to do. Below is a list of some activities and places to visit when in the area.

Manorbier beach with its golden sands rock pools and great for surfing and castle overlooking the beach

Tenby, Pembroke & Bosherton with the famous lily ponds. Stop for a cup of tea and light refreshments at Ye Old Worlde Café.

Boat trips & Seal Safaris from Tenby harbor to Caldy Island.

Barafundle Beach & Stackpole Quay, the beach is part of the Stackpole estate and managed by the National Trust. A crescent shaped beach with golden sands, listed as one of the top 12 beaches in the world.

Family days out to Tenby Dinosaur Park, Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm and Manor Wildlife Park.
